My Natural Makeup Routine

My everyday, natural makeup routine and product recommendations for a fresh face!

I have found that less is more when it comes to my everyday, natural makeup routine. I have dry, sensitive skin, and these products have worked well for me! Everyone has different preferences when it comes to makeup, and what works for me might not work for you. It can take some trial and error to find a routine that you can rely on. Keep reading to see my product recommendations.

Prep

I use the Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion and the Tula Protect and Glow Daily Sunscreen to moisturize, prep, and protect my skin.

Tools

The Real Techniques Makeup Sponge gets a lot of use in my daily routine. I use it for pretty much everything. For eyeshadow I use this IT Cosmetics Dual Ended brush.

Step 1: Conceal

My favorite concealer is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (shade Vanilla). I have tried so many concealers and always find my way back to this one. If you want a budget friendly alternative, try out the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I apply this to any blemishes or redness prone areas. I opt to skip foundation for daily wear.

Step 2: Cream Products

Next, I use cream bronzer, blush and highlight. Cream products tend to work best for my dry skin type. I have been loving everything by Rare Beauty lately, including their Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick (shade Happy Sol), Soft Pinch Liquid Blush (shade Happy), and Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight (shade Mesmerize).

Step 3: Eyes + Brows

I tend to keep things simple in terms of eye makeup and my brow routine. I use this travel friendly Tarte Tropic Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette and run a neutral brown through my crease and sometimes add sparkle to the lid. Also, I use Tarte’s Lights Camera Splashes mascara. I then use the Benefit Gimmie Brow to brush out my eyebrows a little.

Step 4: Lips

Tarte has some great lip products, and almost always has sales and/or promos. My favorites are the Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm and Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump . These keep your lips hydrated while also adding a little color.

Step 5: Set

I use the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder on my forehead, nose and chin area to keep from getting too shiny throughout the day. Also, I love the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, which is much more affordable. Lastly, I use the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray to melt my makeup together and make it last all day. After applying, I take my sponge to gently tap the spray in.

My routine is constantly changing, and I am always looking for new product recommendations. Drop your makeup recs in the comments below!
